On October 23, 2019, the 2019 China-Indonesia Technology Matchmaking Promotion Conference, co-sponsored by the Indonesian Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education, the Indonesian Academy of Sciences, the China-ASEAN Technology Transfer Center, and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Science and Technology Department, was held at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Indonesia

The purpose of this technology promotion conference is to further encourage Chinese technology-based institutions and enterprises to actively "go global", lead China's superior technologies and products to carry out demand docking with Indonesia, and attract Chinese and other foreign enterprises to invest in the Indonesian market. As the first overseas economic and trade cooperation zone established by China in Indonesia and the first national-level overseas economic and trade cooperation zone contracted by Guangxi, the china-indonesia economic and trade cooperation zone was affirmed and invited by the promotion meeting. Chen Feixia, the general manager of the cooperation zone, introduced the background planning of the cooperation zone, the development situation of the first phase of the construction and the prospect of the second phase of the upcoming groundbreaking in detail at the promotion meeting. She had in-depth communication with representatives of all parties and received a warm response from many entrepreneurs. The 2019 China-Indonesia Technology Docking-Promotion Conference has played a positive role in further improving the reputation and status of the China-Indonesia Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone in Indonesia's business environment and further attracting foreign investment.
