一、Industry and Government Collaborate to Drive Industrial Estate Transformation

The Indonesian Industrial Estate Association (HKI) has partnered with the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) to promote the transformation of industrial estates in response to economic, geopolitical, technological, and sustainable development needs. The focus is on strengthening policy planning and implementing priority industrial estates to support the 2025–2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and national strategic projects (PSN) based on industrial estates. The initiative aims to enhance monitoring, reduce licensing bottlenecks, accelerate consultations, and provide data support for decision-making.
二、Indonesia Targets $315 Billion in Exports by 2026

Indonesia's Minister of Trade recently stated that achieving the 2026 export target of $315 billion would set a new historical record for the country. Although the growth target for 2026 (7.09%) is slightly lower than the 7.1% target for 2025, this is not a sign of economic weakness but an adjustment based on a significantly higher export baseline.
The growth target for 2024–2025 is 7.1% (actual growth in 2024 was 2.7%). In 2026, the growth rate is slightly adjusted due to the higher starting point, but the total export value is expected to increase from approximately $294 billion in 2025 to $315 billion in 2026, with the target for 2029 set at $405 billion. This aims to support Indonesia's vision of achieving 8% economic growth by 2029.
Despite the slight reduction in the growth target, the Ministry of Trade remains optimistic about 2026 exports, as several trade agreements are set to be fully implemented by then, serving as a major driver for export growth. The government is also developing a digital platform to help businesses leverage CEPA and FTA (Free Trade Agreements) more efficiently and is planning an export roadmap for 2026–2029. The Minister emphasized that the current government focus is not on adjusting the export commodity structure but on expanding markets, enabling more potential export products to enter a wider range of markets more easily.
