Introduction by the Cooperation Zone Representative
During the symposium, representatives from participating enterprises, together with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Indonesia), China Taiping Insurance, and China Life Insurance, engaged in exchanges and discussions on areas such as banking–insurance–enterprise service collaboration, property insurance, and asset management, with a focus on optimizing the business environment for Chinese-funded enterprises, streamlining agency services, and providing supporting policy measures. The participating companies actively offered suggestions and proposals, articulating specific needs related to urgent, difficult, and pressing issues encountered in their overseas operations. They expressed the hope that, by leveraging the global network platforms of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Indonesia), China Taiping Insurance, and China Life Insurance, they could receive ongoing financial support, further optimize their financial management systems, and enhance their risk prevention and control capabilities.
This exchange event has provided a valuable opportunity for banks, insurance companies, and enterprises to engage in face-to-face, in-depth dialogue, enabling financial institutions operating in Indonesia to accurately identify the challenges faced by Chinese enterprises in their “going global” initiatives as well as the key areas where financial services can be strengthened. This will further drive improvements in the scope and quality of financial services, harness the full potential of finance, and better support and serve Chinese enterprises in successfully establishing and expanding their operations in Indonesia.
