On the morning of July 30, 2021, the China-Indonesia Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as the cooperation zone) and Hong Kong Yishang Hongmu Group (hereinafter referred to as the "ESR Company") have formally signed a land purchase agreement. The ESR project is the first major project introduced by the cooperation zone since the outbreak of the epidemic in 2020; this land transaction is about 65,000 square meters, which is the largest land transaction in the cooperation zone since 2014.

It is reported that ESR is headquartered in Hong Kong and is a leading international logistics real estate listed company. The ESR's principal activites include site selection, design, construction, and leasing of logistics real estate. Its  total assets are more than 20 billion U.S. dollars, and the total construction area is more than 1,700 hectares. Today, ESR Group have industrial sites in China, Japan, South Korea, and other counties, which operated 35 logistics parks in China.

As a leading logistics real estate enterprise with a network spanning major economies across the Asia-Pacific region, ESR Group enters can contribute to further forme an e-commerce logistics industry chain in the Cooperation Zoon,  and at the same time, this enters creating favorable conditions for investment promotion and industrial upgrading in the second phase of the park.

In the next step, the cooperation zone will continue to focus on the land resources of the cooperation zone and accelerate developing the second phase of the project.
