[Park News] Zhang Laiming, Deputy Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council (vice-ministerial level), and his delegation conducted an inspection and research visit to the Cooperation Zone.
On the morning of November 19, Zhang Laiming, Deputy Director and Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Development Research Center of the State Council (at the vice-ministerial level), led a six-member delegation to the Cooperation Zone for an inspection and research visit.
Accompanied by Liu Weiming, head of the Cooperation Zone, and other staff members, Deputy Director Zhang Laiming and his delegation listened to a briefing on the Cooperation Zone at the zone’s office building.
The Cooperation Zone invited several Chinese enterprises operating within the zone to attend a symposium. Following a screening of the zone’s promotional video, the two sides held discussions on the current development status of overseas enterprises.
Deputy Director Zhang Laiming stated that the purpose of the delegation’s visit was to conduct a fact-finding mission on cooperation between Chinese enterprises and ASEAN member states, noting that the Belt and Road Initiative serves as a crucial platform for ASEAN’s economic development. He expressed hope that the delegation would hear the most candid feedback and genuine sentiments from overseas businesses.
Liu Weiming, head of the park, along with the heads of Xi’an Dianzi Sko Indonesia Co., Ltd., Mengniu Indonesia Co., Ltd., and Anmei Technology Co., Ltd., each presented a report to Deputy Director Zhang Laiming.
Following the meeting, Deputy Director Zhang Laiming stated that Indonesia occupies a pivotal position within ASEAN and that China and Indonesia enjoy exceptionally friendly relations, presenting ample opportunities for bilateral cooperation. After hearing briefings from various enterprises, he gained a wealth of highly valuable insights and expressed his hope to continue providing greater support in the future to help overseas companies address more substantive challenges.
