A delegation of 15 members led by Xin Xiuming, vice president of China association of foreign contractors, visited  the China-Indonesia economic and trade cooperation zone (hereinafter referred to as the cooperation zone) for investigation on June 12. The person in charge of the cooperation zone warmly received Xin Xiuming and his delegation, and the two sides held a symposium in the office building of the cooperation zone.

Accompanied by the person in charge of the cooperation zone, Vice Chairman Xin Xiuming and his delegation visited the office buildings and infrastructure of the cooperation zone. At the symposium, the person in charge of the cooperation zone first expressed thanks to China Chamber of Commerce for Foreign Contractors for their concern and support for the cooperation zone all the time, and hoped that the chamber of commerce would continue to pay attention to support and help the development of the cooperation zone. Later, the person in charge of the cooperation zone introduced the background of the development of the cooperation zone, the construction and development of the cooperation zone and the development planning of the Smartpark in the second phase of the cooperation zone to the delegation in detail.

Vice President Xin Xiuming pointed out that the Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone is the best investment platform for "going global", which is conducive to efficient, fast and safe investment, production and construction of Chinese enterprises overseas. China - Indonesia economic and trade cooperation zone is one of the first overseas economic and trade cooperation zones approved by the Chinese government and won the bid. Xin Xiuming said that he would make use of the advantages of the Chamber of Commerce to contact large Chinese enterprises and actively promote relevant enterprises to carry out relevant cooperation with the cooperation zone.

The two sides also had an in-depth exchange of views on the land situation of the park and the problems encountered by enterprises in Indonesia. The delegation included leaders and representatives of more than 10 large Chinese central and local enterprises, including China Railway, China Harbour and Guangxi Liugong.

It is understood that the China Association of Foreign Contractors is a national industry organization composed of investors, construction companies and related enterprises in the field of "going global" infrastructure. It has 1,500 members. Its main function is to help member enterprises get familiar with overseas markets, get acquainted with partners and find cooperation opportunities. Actively participate in the investment and construction of "One Belt And One Road" infrastructure and interconnection projects. This time the delegation visited the cooperation zone to give full play to the business promotion role of the Chamber of Commerce, assist member companies in developing hot country markets, seek transformation opportunities for companies, and explore opportunities for promoting investment and cooperation between the country and the park.
