The Cooperation Zone Extends Eid al-Adha Condolences to Surrounding Communities
On July 28, enterprises jointly located in the cooperation zone donated supplies to Naghashali Village, where the zone is situated, in celebration of the Islamic Eid al-Adha 1441.
Eid al-Adha is a major Islamic festival, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice. In accordance with local customs, the Cooperation Zone extended festive greetings and condolences to the villagers of Nagasali in the surrounding area. Since the outbreak of the pandemic in Indonesia, the Cooperation Zone and the enterprises located within the zone have actively donated funds, distributed free masks and other epidemic-prevention supplies to neighboring communities, and conducted extensive public education on preventive measures, thereby working hand-in-hand with local communities to combat the virus. On this occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Cooperation Zone and its resident enterprises once again donated livestock to Nagasali Village, further strengthening the bonds between the zone and the surrounding community.

As a key enterprise in the vicinity of Nagasari Village, the Cooperation Zone and its resident companies have for many years been committed to giving back to the local community and actively fulfilling their social responsibilities. On major local holidays—such as Eid al-Adha, Eid al-Fitr, and Indonesia’s Independence Day—we consistently donate supplies to the community. In addition, the Cooperation Zone periodically partners with other enterprises to organize a series of public-service initiatives, including the “Children’s Hope Education” program. Whenever natural disasters such as floods or earthquakes strike Indonesia, the Cooperation Zone and its resident companies promptly mobilize donations of funds and relief supplies to support disaster victims in their recovery and reconstruction efforts. According to statistics, to date the Cooperation Zone and its resident companies have cumulatively paid over US$120 million in taxes and other levies to the local government, and currently employ more than 4,000 people, significantly alleviating the challenge of unemployment faced by a portion of the local workforce.
