Delegation of Logistics Enterprises from Guangdong Province Conducts Inspection and Research in the Cooperation Zone
On the afternoon of March 4, a delegation of Guangdong-based logistics enterprises, including Shenzhen Yuexin Investment Co., Ltd., visited the Cooperation Zone for an inspection and research tour, accompanied by Xue Baohua, Secretary-General of the Indonesia-China Chamber of Commerce and General Manager of China Taiping Insurance Indonesia. The Cooperation Zone organized a symposium between relevant member companies of the Transportation and Logistics Branch of the Indonesia-China Chamber of Commerce and the delegation, which was attended by Li Manyi, Chairman of the branch. The delegation comprised enterprises with overseas presence and a strong interest in investment and cooperation.
The head of the Cooperation Zone provided the business delegation with a detailed briefing on the zone’s development and construction, its locational advantages, investment promotion efforts, and the planning for the Phase II Logistics Park. Li Manyi, Secretary-General of the Transportation and Logistics Branch of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, gave a thorough overview of Indonesia’s logistics and customs-clearance sectors to the business representatives. Meanwhile, Liu Shaowei, Deputy General Manager of China XD Group, and Lin Hong, General Manager of Earth Steel, each drew on their respective companies’ experience in logistics and customs clearance to actively address the delegation’s questions and provide clarifications.
The delegation is composed primarily of leaders from China’s logistics and organic agriculture sectors, including executives from well-known logistics companies. The business delegation expressed sincere gratitude for the meticulous arrangements made by the China–Indonesia Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone and highly commended the progress achieved in its development and construction. They have demonstrated a strong interest in the Indonesian market and are keen to establish an advanced logistics industrial park in Indonesia. The purpose of this visit is to gain a deeper understanding of Indonesia’s policies and industrial development, leverage the momentum of the Belt and Road Initiative, and identify suitable project sites in Indonesia for joint development and construction of a logistics industrial park.
